A shop built on the answer nobody else wants to give

Wolf Pack Repair is a veteran-owned mechanic shop in Pocatello. We do everything from engine and transmission replacement through to brakes and oil changes — most of it at our shop, and a good deal of it wherever your vehicle happens to be sitting.

The short version

We would rather lose the job than take the money

Auto repair has an honesty problem, and everybody knows it. The customer cannot verify the diagnosis, cannot see the old part, and has no way of knowing whether the number they were quoted bears any relationship to the work.

So we built the business around removing that asymmetry. Diagnosis comes first and is priced openly. The fault gets explained in language you can repeat to someone else. The price arrives before the spanner does. And when the honest answer is that the repair is not worth what the vehicle is worth, you get told that — even though it costs us the job.

It is not a complicated model. It just requires being willing to say the unprofitable thing out loud, which is apparently rarer than it should be.

What you can count on

Four promises, and we keep all of them

A price before the work

Nothing is taken apart and nothing is ordered until you have seen a number and agreed to it. If something unexpected appears mid-job, work stops and we call.

Diagnosis, not guesswork

A trouble code names a circuit, not a broken part. We test the component before anyone spends your money replacing it.

Explained in plain English

You should be able to repeat our explanation to someone else and have it still make sense. If you cannot, we have not explained it properly.

Veteran standards

Show up when you said you would. Do the job properly. Say the difficult thing rather than the comfortable one.

Two ways to get the job done

Most of the work happens at the shop, where the space and equipment are. But a vehicle that will not start cannot come to us, so we go to it.

  • At the shopEngine and transmission replacement, long teardowns, anything needing a lift.
  • At your addressBrakes, servicing, batteries, starters, diagnostics — done in your driveway or car park.
  • At the roadsideBreakdowns in and around Pocatello, including semis and work trucks.
  • Before you buyPre-purchase inspections, so you find out about it before your money does.

Zack was a true professional. He was super responsive taking care of our radiator hoses even on a holiday weekend. I highly recommend Wolfpack.

Zach with Wolfpack repair was not only honest, he was also quick to respond — within less than an hour. Although it was a relatively straight-forward fix, the peace of mind of having someone certified & very competent repair my vehicle saved me time, the headache, and money. WOW!
