Brake Repair & Rotor Replacement

Brake repair that gets done today, not next week

Brakes are the one system where waiting costs more than fixing. Most brake work we take on is finished the same day — and if you cannot get the vehicle to us, we can often come to it.

The honest version

What you are actually paying for

A brake job is simple work that is easy to do badly. Rotors that were not measured, pads bedded in wrong, a seized caliper slide that gets ignored and eats the new pads within a month — we see the results of all three regularly.

We inspect the whole corner, not just the pad thickness: rotor runout and minimum spec, caliper and slide condition, hose condition, and fluid state. Then you get told what actually needs doing and what can safely wait.

What the job covers

Pads and rotors

Measured, replaced in axle pairs, hardware included, and properly bedded in before you drive away.

Caliper replacement

Seized or dragging calipers replaced, slides serviced, so the new pads last as long as they should.

Brake fluid flush

Old fluid absorbs water, boils sooner and rusts the system from inside. It is cheap insurance.

Lines and hoses

Rusted hard lines and swollen flexible hoses replaced — a common find on Idaho winter vehicles.

Wheel bearings and hubs

Replaced while we are in there when the noise or play calls for it.

Parking brake and ABS faults

Cables, shoes and ABS sensor diagnosis.

Signs you should not ignore

Any one of these is worth a phone call. Several together is worth one today.

  • The pedal goes further down than it used to
  • Steering wheel or pedal shudders under braking
  • The vehicle pulls to one side when you brake
  • A brake or ABS warning light
  • Visible deep scoring on the rotor face

Zack was great, knew what he was doing, replaced my hub and did the brakes and rotors while he was there and did it in a timely manner.
